A Greedy Heuristic Based on Optimizing Battery Consumption and Routing Distance for Transporting Blood Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) play crucial roles in numerous applications, such as healthcare services. For example, UAVs can help disaster relief and rescue missions, by delivering blood samples medical supplies. In this work, we studied a problem related to the routing of approach known UAV-based Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (UCVRP). This is classified an NP-hard problem. The deals with utilizing deliver patients emergency situations while minimizing number total distance. UCVRP variant well-known capacitated vehicle problem, additional constraints that fit shipment type characteristics UAV. To solve developed heuristic Greedy Battery—Distance Optimizing Heuristic (GBDOH). idea was assign UAV way minimize battery consumption UAVs.
